Originally from Cardiff, I read physics at Oxford University. I then moved to Northumberland where I became a Senior Lecturer in Mathematics at the University of Northumbria. On retirement I gained an Honours Degree in Fine Art at Sunderland University.

My work has been selected for exhibition at many venues, for example: St David's Hall in Cardiff, Durham Art Gallery, The Northern Gallery for Contemporary Art in Sunderland, University of Northumbria Gallery,  The Biscuit Factory in Newcastle, Hexham Abbey, Queen's Hall Gallery in Hexham and St Nicholas Cathedral in Newcastle, Oxford Art Society Open Exhibition, the Cornerstone Gallery in Didcot and the Broadway Arts Festival.

I moved to Oxfordshire.in 2018 and live in Drayton where I have a studio/gallery.
